This handsome pair of dark green hand blown bookends, made from Blenko glass, have their original Blenko labels intact. They date back to the 1970’s. To our mind, the mid century period is when they produced some truly iconic pieces. They are a gorgeous dark green that is so dark that they almost appear black. They have a pretty pattern on the back and front that resembles flowers. Both bookends are in great shape. They have some manufacturer imperfections including lines in the pattern but no chips. They are a gorgeous pair and would do justice to any book collection. They could also be easily used as paperweights, on their own or as a pair.
