A sculptural and architecturally composed pair of Swedish table lamps dating to the 1960s, produced by Ateljé Glas & Trä. Each lamp features an assemblage-style base constructed from alternating solid blocks of richly grained rosewood and square, ridged molded glass elements. The stacked formation creates a rhythmic interplay of opacity and transparency — warm organic timber set against cool, refracted light.
The rosewood displays beautifully figured grain throughout, with deep tonal variation ranging from chocolate brown to near-black streaking, while the molded glass blocks diffuse light softly through their textured surfaces. The composition feels almost Brutalist in its geometry, yet retains the warmth and refinement characteristic of Scandinavian modernism.

Excellent vintage condition. The rosewood presents beautifully with only very minor age-related signs of use. The ridged glass blocks are free from chips or cracks and remain crisp and clear. Overall, a very well-preserved and balanced pair.
