Designed by Charles & Ray Eames for the legendary La Fonda del Sol restaurant in New York, these sculptural armchairs are an enduring example of the duo’s playful yet refined approach to form and comfort. Produced by Herman Miller in the 1960s, the chairs feature molded fiberglass shells with integrated arms, mounted on low, four-star aluminum bases—offering both stability and a distinctive silhouette. The burnt orange fabric is original to the chair.
Their soft, organic shape makes them suitable as dining chairs, occasional chairs, or standout accent pieces in a modern interior.
