My father, an antiques collector, instilled in me a passion for design. Some of my earliest memories are attending auctions with my Dad where, in particular, he emphasised the proportions and balance of good furniture. One of the happiest times were during school holidays when he was given the task to renovate Malahide Castle, here in Dublin, Ireland, and we spent the summer sourcing antiques for each room. When he asked me to take over Historic Interiors (a film props company that supplied antiques to the film industry) he taught me the importance of honesty, integrity and fanatical customer service. The Vintage Hub is driven by those same principles today.
