Designed by Carl-Harry Stålhane, featuring a blue glaze with black abstract decor. Designed during the Swedish golden age of ceramics in 1954 and the series consited of various bowls and vases. This is model 7, which is the biggest vase out of the series.
Rörstrand is one of the most renowned ceramics manufacturer in Sweden, still in operation today. Carl Harry Stålhane (1920–1990) is one of Rörstrand’s most prominent ceramic artists and designers, associated with some of the company’s most iconic works. He started working for Rörstrand in the 1930s, eventually becoming their chief designer in 1950.
