Rosewood Extending Dining Table – An exclusive oval extending dining table by Dyrlund, crafted in rosewood with a striking, dark grain pattern across the top. Designed in Denmark during the 1960s, this piece reflects the maker’s dedication to both functionality and style. The table extends with two fitted leaves, secured with clips to prevent movement, allowing it to comfortably seat eight and up to ten with the right choice of chairs.
The distinctive flat three-leg base offers stability while keeping the overall design light and refined, a hallmark of Scandinavian modernism. Photographed here with a set of Robert Heritage ‘Hamilton’ dining chairs — available in a separate listing — this table serves as both a practical family dining solution and a statement centerpiece for entertaining.
Dimensions:
Fully extended length: 264 cm.

📌 Condition

This piece will have some age related marks which are highlighted in the photos.
🧡 Why It Stands Out
This Dyrlund table combines practicality with elegance — its oval form softens the lines of a dining space, while the two leaves provide generous flexibility. The deep rosewood grain adds warmth and richness, making it a statement piece that anchors any dining room with classic Scandinavian style.
