A true icon of Danish mid-century design, the Model 254 dining table by Niels Otto Møller is a masterclass in proportion, craftsmanship, and understated elegance. Crafted in richly figured rosewood, the table showcases beautifully matched veneers across the top, creating a striking, almost symmetrical grain pattern that shifts subtly with the light. The edges are finely detailed with a layered profile, adding depth and refinement while concealing the cleverly integrated extension leaves beneath.
Its silhouette is classic Møller—clean, light, and effortlessly balanced. The solid wood frame is supported by elegantly tapered legs, giving the table a refined, architectural presence while maintaining a sense of visual lightness. Designed with both form and function in mind, the table extends smoothly via two pull-out leaves, transforming it from an intimate dining setting into a generous table capable of seating larger gatherings with ease.
We have photographed this table with our beautiful set of Johannes Andersen dining chairs which we have restored and upholstered in a green leather.

✨ Restoration Details
Fully restored in our workshop, this piece has been carefully refinished to enhance the depth and warmth of the rosewood grain. The surface has been brought back to a smooth, even finish, while preserving the character and integrity of the original design.
📌 Condition
Excellent vintage condition. The table is structurally sound, with smooth extension mechanisms and a clean, even finish throughout. As with all vintage pieces, there may be very minor, age-appropriate signs of use, but nothing that detracts from its overall presentation.
🧡 Why It Stands Out
