This three-piece cabinet system, designed by Nils Jonsson for Troeds in the 1960s, is a striking example of Scandinavian modern storage design. Crafted in richly grained rosewood, it features Jonsson’s signature sculpted handles and clean, functional lines. The system is comprised of three separate units—two with cupboards and one with both open and glass-fronted shelving—offering a flexible mix of display and storage options. Adjustable shelving allows you to tailor the configuration to suit books, decorative objects, or everyday use, while the variation of closed and open sections provides balance and elegance. With its bold wood grain, superb craftsmanship, and timeless design, this cabinet system makes a refined addition to both vintage and modern interiors.
The units offer flexibility in the sense that they can be used together as photographed or separate them into alcoves next to a fireplace.
** Note: The glass door cabinet has two new clear glass shelves which wasn’t here during time of photography.
