Vintage Swedish Teak and Leather Lounge Chair by Folke Ohlsson for Dux Just added to our collection is this super comfortable (and I really mean it!) lounge armchair with it’s matching footstool. We have upholstered this in a lovely bouclé which just fits the aesthetics of this beautiful chair. Designed by the Swedish designer Folke Ohlsson in the 1960s and marketed under the name “Profil” for the company Dux, which is now known as Dux of Sweden. The armchair has a beautiful shaped base, with gently curved rails and one of my favorite characteristics is the floating arms above the frame itself. The armchair can be reclined and locked in a number of positions and gives optimal support for the back. The lounge chair and stool has been upholstered with a fabric that is easy to clean and maintain. Perfect chair to snooze in.

Condition:

This chair has been fully restored and has had a full make over. The original fabric was very worn with dry foam that was crumbling. We have fully restored the frame for durability and longevity and also upholstered it in a modern, easy to clean and to maintain fabric as well as replacing the foam and dacron.

Shipping these days is pretty simple and it is something that we are good at. We have shipped pieces of furniture all over the world. It can take a little time to get shipping quotes as most deliveries are different. Ireland and the UK are easy and generally take under an hour to quote. Mainland Europe, the USA and the Rest of the world take a little longer but generally less than 24 hours.

Once we have booked the shipping then you can rest assured that communication will be good, the packaging will be excellent and we will stick 100% with the process until we know you are happy.

Do you deliver to my country?
We deliver all over the world and are expert at getting your item to you safely and for the best price possible. Please email with any special requests.

How are my items packed?
We have an expert team of packers and craters that are vert adept at getting our unique and one-off pieces safely packaged to be transported anywhere in the world.

When will I receive my products?
Depending on where you are anything from 1-2 working days to possibly 21 days for specialised “white glove” delivery to hard to reach areas.

However, we will endeavour to give you an estimated time of delivery when we quote you.

Do you provide home / office installation?
Yes we can in most cases, especially in Ireland and the U.K. but for other parts of Europe, United States and the rest of the world we may have to use a locally sourced agent from our wide range of contacts worldwide.

UK and Ireland

All items are sold with a two-week ‘cooling off’ period. You may indicate you wish to return an item within two weeks of receiving it and we will accept it back, no questions asked. The item must be returned in the exact same condition it was received in.

If you wish us to collect the item during one of our scheduled runs to the UK, then please inform us by email and we can give you an approximate date of collection.
If you wish for the item to be removed quicker than we are capable of offering, then all costs associated with the removal and shipping of that item will not be refundable. We will only refund the initial cost price.
If the item was delivered using a service other than our own delivery service, then those costs will not be refundable.
All refunds will be made after we have received the item and inspected it.

USA, Europe and the Rest of the World

All items are sold with a two-week ‘cooling off’ period. You may indicate you wish to return an item within two weeks of receiving it and we will accept it back no questions asked. The item must be returned in the exact same condition it was received in.

Only the item cost price can be refunded, we will not refund shipping costs for customers in the United States of America or anywhere outside of the UK and Ireland.
